Battery Health My phone's (iPhone 13 Pro) battery health dropped to 98% in about 2.5 months. 10 days ago it was 99%. I had a 1% loss in 10 days. I think it's abnormal for it to drop so fast. Could you help?

Earlier this month I complained about my iPhone 12 Pro dropping from 97% to 95% when I went to check it. I was alerted by this when I decided to check my battery health, and that my iPhone dropped from 100% to 97% near the end of April after an update. It feels like last week (or two) that my iPhone dropped from 95% to 94%.

My iphone 11 went from 95% to 92% battery health in the 2 weeks. Title says it all, I'm not sure if I should be worried or not. I usually plug it out soon after it's done charging, battery life is still decent but I'm not liking this trend.
Anyhow, 13 Pro user here, all fancy stuff is on, 99% battery health (good tip, stop caring about it because it's buggy) and I charge my phone every time from around 30% ~40% to 100%. I get 7 hours of screen on time if I charge at around 30%+ left, this includes wifi mobile data usage, on wifi I could squeez even more.
Sorry but do you know how optimized battery charging works. There is a reason why the optimized battery charging keeps the battery charge at 80% and only continue charging to 100% momentarily before you wake up. Cause constantly keeping your phone above 80% is destructive to your battery’s health. 2.
It’s nothing but a paper weight now. 3. DistributionSalt178. • 1 yr. ago. depends on your charging habits,i have 13 pro max since april 2022 i'm also on 98%, it should last about 2 years until 80%, but overall that's normal just use your phone and when is 80% or below u replace it for about 50/80€. 2.
On your iPhone, various apps run simultaneously in the background. Normally, these apps should use a portion of your CPU while running. Unfortunately, there are times when your CPU gets used up to about 100%. When this happens, your iPhone gets hot and drains the battery fast. Your apps can overload your iPhone’s CPU.
2. New Algorithm for Battery Health Measurement. Another plausible reason is that Apple may have changed how they measure iPhones’ battery health. One of the recent updates could have put this new algorithm into effect. 3. New Features of iPhone 14 Pro / Pro Max. Mar 25, 2013. 2,708. 1,225. Mar 10, 2023. #1. I recently noticed my iPhone 14 Pro battery health was already down to 96% percent. Purchased in Oct so it's not exactly new but my wife's iPhone 13 Mini is still at 100% battery health which was purchased last August. I feel like in years past at about 6 months my iPhone's health was still circa 100%.
i bought my phone at march 13 and i used it almost everytime which is not a problem, but when the battery percentage is less then 25% i still used(i had the opportunity to charge, but i didn’t) i saw a video on yt that says: using iphone below 25% can damage battery health. so in less then 2 months my battery health dropped to 97% after that i started to keep up battery percentage to 25% or

Hello, on 17th of November 2020 i got an iphone 11 pro replacement, it was 100% battery health that time, but now it dropped to 95%, like WHAT!, does…

Hey so i bought an iphone 13 pro 8 months ago and it's been maintaining its battery percentage pretty well for the first 6 months at 100% but 2 months ago it started decreasing battery by 2% (to 98%) which was normal at first since it's been holding 100% for a good period but the weird part was in the last month since the battery has decreased a lot in by 4%(to 94%) and literally in month like

For all we know, it could've been sitting in the box for several months. Well, same for me. I bought my IPhone early november, then after update to 16.1.2 battery health went down to 99% and, a week after it was 98% and after couple days went down to 97% and that’s where I am now (this happened yesterday). I contacted Apple support and they Then, do another 100-0% cycle and charge it again. Take a look at battery health stats and see if there is any improvement. Do a third cycle like this and if there is still no improvement then you might want to consider getting it replaced when it goes close to 80% or even now. Since iOS 14.8, it all went downhill for me. My battery health dropped from 98% to 94%, a lot of apps are running in the background despite background refresh being turned off for them and I experience some annoying battery drain while the phone is in standby.

167,160 points. Nov 7, 2022 8:54 AM in response to Ahmedtahahassine. Batteries haven't been calibrated for years. But batteries are consumables so as you use them their ability to take and hold charges, i.e. the health, decreases. Having a battery health of 97% after 7 months is very good. When it hits 80% replace it.

Amount of Charging cycles. "fast" charging or charging your iPhone with an iPad charger will generate more heat = over time faster decrease of battery capacity. Letting your iPhone die entirely (0%) Charging your iPhone to 100% every cycle. (Above 90% the iPhone will charge slower as the battery goes towards the 100%. To decrease heat build up.)
